Available carpets:

80/20 Blend Loop

• This carpet is an excellent reproduction of the carpets used in most domestic vehicles from the 50s through 1973.
• 80/20 can be specified for 1974 & later vehicles if there is no change in the floor pan between 1973 & the year you desire.
• This carpet is the only carpet in the industry tufted from 80% rayon & 20% nylon.
• It is tufted on a 5/32 gauge loop tufting machine & contains 24 ounces of yarn per square yard.
• It is dyed using the finest quality dyes available.
• It is also tested for ozone humidity fading & light fastness. It comes in 72" widths & can be rubber latex or polyethylene backed.

Daytona

• The face yarn of the Daytona carpet is 100% nylon.
• The backing yarn is 30% nylon, 40% cotton & 30% rayon.
• The total weight is 28 ounces per square yard with foam backing.
• The Daytona carpet is 54" wide & is available in foam back only.
• The Daytona carpet can only be used in cut & sew applications. It cannot be molded.

Nylon

• This carpet is constructed from first quality DuPont 1850 filament yarn.
• It is tufted on a 5/32 loop machine.
• The material is dyed in a continuous range process using the finest quality dyes available.
• It is tested for ozone humidity fading & light fastness.
• This carpet comes in 72" widths & can be heavy rubber latex or polyethylene backed.

TruVette

• The most plush carpet available.
• This carpet is 100% solution dyed nylon.
• Simply stated, the yarn is manufactured to a specific color & does not require dying.
• This carpet is tufted on a 1/10 gauge machine, which gives it the plush look & feel.
• TruVette contains 14 ounces of material per square yard.
• It is tufted into 72" rolls & can be heavy rubber latex or polyethylene backed.

Cut Pile (Nylon)

• This style carpet is similar to what is found in most domestic vehicles from 1974 to the early 90s.
• In some cases its pile height is not as high as OEM.
• This is also the style that most pre 1990 import carpets are made in.
• Cut pile can be specified for just about any carpet.
• Our nylon cut pile is constructed from 100% first quality Dupont yarn.
• It is tufted on a 1/8 gauge machine with 14 ounces of yarn per square yard.
• This carpet is dyed in a continuous range operation with specific chemicals added to reduce fading.
• It is also tested for ozone humidity fading & lightfastness.
• It is available in 72" widths & can be heavy rubber latex or polyethylene backed.

Gros Point

• Gros Point is a high-end carpet made of 100% nylon that has the appearance of fine embroidery.
• It was developed specifically for early model classic muscle and full size passenger cars built in the 50s & the 60s.

Trinadad

• Trinadad was used in the late 50s & early 60s General Motors vehicles.
• It is constructed by twisting a gold or silver metallic thread into our 80/20 Rayon/Nylon Blend Loop carpet.
• The carpet is beck dyed & the gold & silver thread gives it a rich appearance.
• This carpet comes in 52" widths & can be heavy rubber latex or polyethylene backed.
• Trinadad is only available where specified.

Tuxedo

• Tuxedo is constructed by twisting an Olefin filament yarn into our 80/20 Rayon/Nylon Blend Loop yarn.
• The material is then tufted on a 5/32 gauge loop machine & dyed in a beck dye operation.
• Because the Olefin yarn does not take dye & remains black it gives the carpet the elegant look that inspired the name "Tuxedo".
• This carpet comes in 52" widths & can be heavy rubber latex or polyethylene backed.
